SANFORD, Florida - The Seminole State Raider Women's Golf Team will play anyone, anywhere at any time. Case in point, the team will travel to LPGA International Golf Club in Daytona and play the defending National Champion this weekend. McLennan (TX) Community College, the number three team in last years' National Championship is also scheduled to participate. The team will play a practice round on Thursday (1:20 p.m.) and then 18 holes each day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Although returning three All-Americans from last year's squad (Tai Aundit, Sam Brimhall & Karn Thantamnu), Coach Christa Teno still has a lot of unanswered questions. She has named the (pre-liminary) "starting 5", plus one:

  • Tai Aundit
  • Alex Giles
  • Sam Brimhall
  • Sophia Warren
  • Brigitte Clemens
  • Nicole Stewart - participating as an individual

How will the newcomers handle the pressure in their first collegiate tournament; how will the entire team react to a practice round and three additional competitive rounds and how the new greens at LPGA International play? These are just a few of the questions Coach Teno will try to answer by Sunday later afternoon.

Check back on for scoring updates and a recap of tournament action.
