SANFORD, Florida - On Sunday April 22nd the Seminole State Athletics Department will host the 15th Annual Year-end Awards Dinner, now known as the Raider Celebration. The Celebration will be held at the Orlando Hilton/Altamonte Springs (350 Northlake Blvd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701) and begin at 6:30 p.m.

During the dinner there will be a variety of awards presented by each of the three coaches including team MVP, Most Improved and a Coaches Award. The Softball Excellence Scholarship will be presented along with the Mack Blythe award for Freshman Athletic Excellence.

The Athlete of the Year for the Women and Men will also be announced, last year's winners (Stevi Ames and Pavin Parks) are pictured. The culmination of the evening will be the presentation of the Blue and Gold Cords for graduating Students. These cords may be worn by Raiders in all future graduation ceremonies.

The difficult part of all of the awards, the seasons are (hopefully) far from complete, so All-conference (MFC), All-State (FCSAA) and All-American (NJCAA) awards are still "to be determined."
