JACKSONVILLE, Florida - Seminole State Golf enjoyed a reunion of sorts on Sunday, then enjoyed two days of great golf. Minori Nagano (second) and Sophia Warren (tied sixth) lead the Raiders (+26) to a second place finish, besting eleven (11) four-year programs.

Four (alumni) members of the 2019 National Championship team also played in the tournament. Maria Cowan (Bethune-Cookman), Sam Brimhall (Jacksonville), Nicole Stewart (Charleston Southern) and Brigitte Clements (Embry-Riddle) all got acquainted with the 2019-2020 Raiders. Brimhall placed highest among the alums at (tied) 13th.

Even with two in the top 10 Coach Teno noted the total team effort. "I thought we played well across the board. I am pleased with our play and excited that our newcomers kept improving."

The Raiders will participate in the Stetson Hatter Classic on October 7-8. The Tournament will be at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood.
