SANFORD, Florida - For a program with less than 4 months lead time, the Fall 2019 campaign was a huge success. Coach Ocky Clark was hired in May of 2019 and in less than 16 weeks field a very respectable team on both the men's and women's side. The Raiders sent four individuals to the National meet in Kansas. Jaina Hawkins and Sara Kopack advanced on the women's side; Yassin Raffay and Hillary Kandie (All-American) advanced on the men's side.

The 2019 season schedule was announced by Coach Clark recently (link above). Clark has reduced the number of events and added a home meet. The home meet will be on the Oviedo campus of Seminole State on the evening of Friday, September 27th (interested teams can check out https://www.directathletics.com/meets/xc/15212.html). "Our goal is to develop a Top 10 program, nationally," stated Coach Clark. "I believe we'll continue to build on last year's success and get to the Top 10 sooner, rather than later."
