DAYTONA BEACH, Florida - Way before hurricane Dorian was set to blow through the world famous Daytona Beach, the Seminole State Cross Country team got the opportunity to compete on that beach. Daytona State College hosted a unique relay for 2-person teams with each individual running a half mile down the beach and then returning the half mile to "pass the baton" to their team mate.

The Raider men fielded four teams (top three score) and finished first, third, 9th and 17th for a total score of 13. The defending FCSAA/Regional Champion Falcons from Daytona State placed second, one point behind SSC.

On the women's side, Seminole only ran two teams so a team score wasn't recorded. SSC placed third and 8th.

Individual results are linked above.
