SANFORD, Florida - 2017 NJCAA Hall of Fame inductee, Coach Christa Teno, today announced the Fall schedule for the Seminole State Women's Golf team. Unlike the softball and baseball Fall schedules, the fall tournaments count toward rankings and post-season qualifying.
The Raiders will kick-off the season in Melbourne, September 23rd through 25th at the Lady Titan Fall Invitational. Over five straight weekends, Seminole State will travel up and down the eastern coast of Florida, concluding at the Flagler College Fall Slam October 22nd through 24th. Four of the five tournaments will be hosted by NCAA Schools. Seminole State competed in the Jacksonville University and Flagler College tournaments in 2016, finishing 8th out of 14 teams and 3rd out of 16 teams respectively.
"It will be a very busy fall with great competition and venues," mentioned Coach Teno. "Our expectations are always high, so I look forward to these early events."
- The 2017 team finished 2nd at the NJCAA Championships in Duluth, GA
- Seminole State Golf has finished in the top 3 in the Nation for the last 6 years
- The team has three returners from last year's squad, plus five incoming freshmen
