SANFORD, Florida - Head Coach Mike Nicholson has added Assistant Coach Bruce Larkins to the Raider Baseball staff.  Larkins most recently was with Flagler College in St. Augustine but has extensive experience in the FCSAA with stops at Santa Fe and Pensacola State College. While at Santa Fe, the Saints reached the NJCAA National Championship game in 2009,  With Pensacola, the Pirates ascended to a top 25 ranking in 2015.

Coach Larkins will have Recruiting Coordinator and Hitting Coach as his responsibilites and will spearhead community outreach programs. An announcement will come Monday on the fall showcase and clinic schedules.

The Raiders will kick-off the fall season on September 13th at 4 p.m.


  • Admission is free to all fall (exhibition) home games, Regular season games (Spring) charge $5 for Adults, $3 for Youth (12&Under). Season Tickets are $30. All can be purchased at the gate.

About the Seminole State Raiders:

The Raider Athletics Department of Seminole State College was established in 1965 and initially led by Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach Joe Sterling. Seminole State currently sponsors three sports all members of the NJCAA. Both Baseball and Softball facilities are located on College Drive on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.  Kurt Esser is the current Athletic Director.
