SANFORD, Florida - The Women's Golf program at Seminole State has "built" a lot of Raiders. Young ladies who play fantastic golf, excel in the classroom and serve the community. If you are intersted in helping Coach Teno continue to produce great young women, then sign up today for the Semionle State Raiders College/Am.

The annual event will be on November 27th at the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes. Each team will get to tee it off with one member of the Raider's Golf Team. Price is $120 for individuals or $450 for a team. Details are in the flyer (link).

  • The 2017 team finished 2nd at the NJCAA Championships in Duluth, GA
  • Seminole State Golf has finished in the top 3 in the Nation for the last 6 years
  • The team has two starters from last year's squad, plus one red-shirt sophomore and four incoming freshmen

About the Seminole State Raiders:

The Raider Athletics Department of Seminole State College was established in 1965 and initially led by Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach Joe Sterling. Seminole State currently sponsors three sports all members of the NJCAA. Both Baseball and Softball facilities are located on College Drive on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus.  Kurt Esser is the current Athletic Director.

Women's Golf Christa Teno was recently named the LPGA National Collegiate Coach of the year. Teno was inducted into the NJCAA Hall of Fame in 2017. Her team is currently ranked #1 in the country.
